正月初五，也叫“破五”，是我國的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日，在這一天有很多講究和習俗，在《歲時瑣事》中記載說：“欲有所作為，必過此五日，始行之”，意思就是在春節(jié)期間有很多規(guī)矩和講究，不能亂說話，不能說不吉利的話，過了初五之后人們不必有這些忌諱。
“破五”這一天，人們最在意的一件事情就是“送窮迎財”，即智窮、學窮、文窮、命窮、交窮，民間把這五窮稱之為五窮鬼，大家會用不同的習俗將這五窮送走，比如在陜西韓城一帶，大家會炒麻豆，將豆子炒到噼里啪啦作響，意思就時把壞的運氣“崩走”。當然除了送窮之外，這5件事，破五一定不要忘。
一、迎財神
據說正月初五是財神的生日，從這一天凌晨開始，人們就開始相繼迎財神，普通人家會給財神供上水果，面條或者餃子，在燒香求拜，燃放鞭炮以此求得財運，而且給財神貢過的吃食，再讓家里人吃，來年財運一定會旺。
財神即五路神。所謂五路，指東西南北中，意為出門五路，皆可得財。除了五路神之外，還有武財神，文財神等說法，但無論拜哪個財神，只要心誠，皆能帶來財運。
二、吃餃子
俗話說“好吃不如餃子”，在中國大大小小的節(jié)日里，都離不開吃餃子，除了美味之外，它已經是中華美食重要的組成部分。從初一到初五禁忌比較多，所以到了破五吃餃子，表示慶賀不在有禁忌了。另外還有人“包餃子，捏住小人嘴”的說法，意思就是來年小人少說壞話。
三、打掃房子
從除夕開始到正月初四，通常是不會打掃房子的，尤其是掃地，老一輩人認為會把財運掃走，而到了破五這一天，就要由內到外把垃圾掃成一個堆，然后放上鞭炮，點然后噼里啪啦，這樣不好的運氣都會一掃而光，剩下的便是財氣和福氣。
四、放鞭炮
正月初五這一天，家家戶戶都會燃放鞭炮，而且鞭炮越響越長，寓意就越好，代表著把窮運，以及各種不吉利都能轟去，有人還會燃放二踢腳，也叫“崩窮”，把晦氣和窮氣統(tǒng)統(tǒng)都崩掉。有些商戶在初五這一天也會正式營業(yè)，放一串鞭炮，寓意今天財源滾滾。
1.大年初五迎財神。大財小財，八方來財；養(yǎng)財蓄財，年年添財；招財進財，和氣生財；正財橫財，恭喜發(fā)財。財神日，接財神，財氣沖天，運亨通！
